UPDATE - 6-30-08  Rock Band 2 announcement today!  Apparently it ships for 360 owners in September,
with PS3 and Wii soon after.  Notable features include backward compatibility for all downloaded tunes, a
larger setlist than in Rock Band 1, and redesigned instruments (although your RB1 instruments will work
as weell.)  Also, there's a Who Greatest Hits pack coming out on July 15; the full list should be out in the
next couple of days.

UPDATE - 6-29-08  Sorry I've been gone so long.  I'll try to do better.  PIxies is the latest thing to come
out, but unfortunately, I can't stand the Pixies, so you'll have to get your track reviews from someone with
less taste in music.  That's right, I said it.  Weezer, though, I'm all over that.  Coming soon...

Also, just so everyone knows where I'm coming from when I write reviews, I'm currently stuck on 92% of
Green Grass and High Tides on expert guitar.
My wife has beaten expert drums.  As far as DLC, Ride the
Lightning, Smokin', and Shockwave kick my ass on a regular basis
, while Blackened and The Perfect Drug
destroy the old lady.

UPDATE - 3-31-08  OK, three things.  First, the Boston pack is insanely fun.  I'm putting up reviews as of
now.  Second, next week's April Fool's release is Still Alive, by Jonathan Coulton.  Apparently it's from
Portal?  Whatever, it's free.  Third, us PS3ers get screwed again, as the PlayStation Store goes down for
a couple of weeks this month, with no access to new DLC until it's back up.  Guess I'll be cheating and
reviewing off of the YouTube videos...

UPDATE - 3-24-08  Hell yeah!  6 pack of Boston this week.  I'll be all over that....

UPDATE 3-19-08  I've been watching some YouTube videos of the thrash pack, and they look really fun,
but there's no way I'm buying these and having them pop up in mystery setlists to kill my friends that aren't
quite as Rock Band dorky as me.  Hell, there's no way I can sniff these on Expert guitar without at least a
couple weeks to practice.  Harmonix, for the love of God, let us switch DLC on and off for world tour.  I
already groan when Ride the Lightning pops up.

UPDATE 3-16-08  Ugh.  I'm not crazy about the thrash pack that's been released either.  I'll try to play
catch-up with some older stuff, though.  It's spring break, so I should be able to update more frequently.

UPDATE 3-10-08  This week's DLC has been announced:  Shockwave by Black Tide, Crushcrushcrush
by Paramore, and Beethoven's C*** by Serj Tankian.  All are actual masters, not covers.  Whatever.
Guess I've got some listening to do, cause I haven't heard any of this stuff.

UPDATE 3-9-08  OK, I'll get individual reviews up later, but the Grateful Dead pack is a guitar bonanza.
Add to that a couple of pretty fun tracks, and this pack is well worth the money, especially buying in bulk.

UPDATE 3-6-08  Grateful Dead pack out today.  I'm getting it soon, but all indications seem to be that this
is a killer guitar pack.

Downloadable content (referred to from here on out as DLC) is music that Harmonix releases weekly.
These songs can be purchased and downloaded at either the PlayStation Store or Xbox Marketplace.
Generally, at least so far, three songs a week are released.  Xbox 360 files are available on Tuesdays,
while us PS3 owners have to wait until Thursday.

I'll try to keep up with rumored future releases on this page as well.  There are a few full album releases
that have been rumored, notably Nirvana's "Nevermind," Radiohead's "OK Computer," and The Who's
"Who's Next."

Stay tuned for updates!
